Dynapath 10 vs. 20 control on TREE 310
New to CNC, have two tree journeyman 310's, One has Dynapath Delta 10, the other Dynapath 20. What are advantages/differences to each. I have no manuals, I hope "3S" carries them. Got my eye on an old Tree Milling machine
I'm not knocking the Tree collet system, like I said I own a 2UVR. My U.S. Machine Tool mill uses #9 B&S which also work just fine for me, although they don't release from the spindle as easily as R8's. Machine tool makers pushed for standard tooling systems years ago, hence 40 and 50 taper tooling for bigger machines.

What is the current thought on Tree 2UVR mills?
I used to use a Tree milling head mounted to a different brand mill. The Tree collet is an acorn shape with iirc a max capacity of 3/4". The quill has a built-in collet closer which locks the tool via the downfeed lever. Very clever design and a pleasure to use. No drawbar to tighten or knock-out. Very fine milling machines if you get a good one.
